New Delhi: Senior BJP leader, economist, and former Union Minister Dr. Subramanian Swamy has sparked a major political storm with explosive claims about Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a recent podcast interview.
While discussing Indians named in the Epstein files, Swamy alleged that he could name “three or four women” who became Members of Parliament (MPs) only after allegedly having to “sleep with Modi,” with one of them later becoming a minister.

“I can give three or four women who became MPs… they had to sleep with Modi. One even became a minister after sleeping.”
The video clip, originally from a POD CHILL podcast, was shared widely on X (formerly Twitter) by user @TARUNspeakss on March 24, 2026. The post has garnered over 3.2 million views, 15,000+ likes, and thousands of reposts, with many users questioning whether the BJP will take disciplinary action against Swamy.

Swamy made the remarks while expressing dismay over Indian names surfacing in the Epstein files. He described the situation as shocking and referred to the alleged acts as a form of political “shishtachar” (etiquette or courtesy). He did not name any individuals, provide dates, evidence, or file any formal complaint.
