ਇਸਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੀ, ਰਾਗੀ ਵਗੈਰਾ ਦਾ ਅਖੌਤੀ ਨੀਵੀਂ ਜਾਤੀ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਣਾ ਆਮ ਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਗੋਂ ਤਖ਼ਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਨੇ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਦਲਿਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੰਘ-ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਦ ਬਣੇ ਫਰਜ਼ੀ ਅੰਬੇਡਕਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕੋ ਇੱਕ ਏਜੰਡਾ ਦਲਿਤ ਬਨਾਮ ਸਿੱਖ ਦਾ ਝਗੜਾ ਪਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ।

A Ram temple in Alwar was allegedly purified on the orders of BJP leader Gyandev Ahuja after a visit was paid by Rajasthan’s Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully, who also is a Dalit.
As soon as the Dalit Congress leader left, Ahuja sprinkled gangajal, an attempt to “purify” the temple. As the incident came to light, Jully, expressed his anger calling out Ahuja’s caste-driven mind.
