ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਸੈਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਕੁਝ ਬਿਹਾਰੀ ਭਈਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗਾਵਾਂ ਰੱਖੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੁਝ ਕੇਸਧਾਰੀ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਸਿੱਖ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਮੌਕੇ ’ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉੱਥੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਦੂਜੇ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਹਿਸ ਹੋਈ, ਜੋ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੰਸਕ ਝੜਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਗਈ।
ਕੇਸਧਾਰੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੱਖ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਇੱਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੋੜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੁਝ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ। ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਹਾਲਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਹੈ।

ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਰਪਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਪੈਣ ’ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹੀ ਬਾਣੇ ਵਾਲੇ “ਯੋਧੇ” ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸ਼ਿਵ ਸੈਨਾ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੱਦਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਇੱਟਾਂ ਚੱਲੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰ ਵੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਪਾਟੇ।
