ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੇ ਵਰਜੀਨੀਆ ਵਿਖੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਸ਼ਮੇਸ਼ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਦੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਅੱਗ ਕਾਰਨ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੁਕਸਾਨੇ ਜਾਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਹਿਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹਿਣ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਨਾ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਪੁਖਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਹੋਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਦੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਵਰਜੀਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਸਿੱਖ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ਼ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰ ਸ. ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਅਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਤੋਂ ਸ. ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਆਫ਼ ਵਿਕਟੋਰੀਆ ਸ. ਰਵੀ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੇ ਸ. ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲੈਣਗੇ, ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਵਨ ਬੀੜਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਸ਼ਮੇਸ਼ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਸ਼ਮੇਸ਼ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਰਜੀਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੱਤਰੇਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਭੇਜਣ।
ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਵੱਸੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਨਾਲ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਵੀ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਜੀਨੀਆ, ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਂਸਲੇ, ਸਹਿਜ ਅਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਪਛਾਣੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਘੋਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਤੇ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ।

– Directs Sikh leaders Daljit Singh (New Zealand), Mandeep Singh, Ravi Inder Singh, Pritam Singh and Gurinderjit Singh (Australia) to submit a detailed report on the incident to Sri Akal Takht Sahib
Amritsar, July 27:
The Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Singh Sahib Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj, has expressed profound grief over the devastating fire that completely destroyed the building of Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar in Virginia, Australia. He urged the Sikh community across the world to remain vigilant and ensure that such incidents do not occur in Gurdwaras by putting in place robust safety and security measures. He also offered prayers before Guru Sahib for the continued well-being and high spirits (Chardi Kala) of the entire Sikh community.
Regarding the incident in Virginia, Jathedar Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj has directed S. Daljit Singh, President of the Central Sikh Association of New Zealand; Mandeep Singh of the Australian Sikh Council; Ravi Inder Singh and Pritam Singh of the Gurdwara Council of Victoria; and Gurinderjit Singh from Adelaide to visit the site to assess the situation firsthand. They have been instructed to submit a comprehensive report to Sri Akal Takht Sahib regarding the incident, including the status of the sacred Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji saroops (birs) that were present in the Gurdwara.
He said the delegation would coordinate with the local Australian authorities and the management of Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar to gather complete details of the incident. He also instructed the management committee of Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar, Virginia, to independently submit a full report on the incident to the Secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
Jathedar Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj stated that Sikhs today reside in countries across the world, and wherever they have settled, they have taken Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji with them and, through their hard work and dedication, established beautiful Gurdwaras. He conveyed a message of courage, patience, and Chardi Kala to the Sikh community in Virginia, Australia.
He further said that the cause of the fire must be identified transparently so that appropriate lessons can be learned and efforts made to rebuild the Guru Ghar. He also stressed that it should be thoroughly investigated whether any act of foul play was involved in the incident.
