ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਇਲ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਪੁਲੀਸ (RMP) ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਖੁਫ਼ੀਆ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾਬਾਦ ਫੋਰਸ (KZF) ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਦੋ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਕਾਰਕੁਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਡਿਪੋਰਟ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਇਲ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਪੁਲੀਸ (RMP) ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਖੁਫ਼ੀਆ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾਬਾਦ ਫੋਰਸ (KZF) ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਦੋ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਕਾਰਕੁਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਡਿਪੋਰਟ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਆਈ.ਜੀ.ਆਈ. ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ‘ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਾਸੀ ਅੰਬਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਾਸੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ KZF ਸਮਰਥਿਤ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਦੇ ਅਹਿਮ ਕੜੀ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੈਡੀਕੇਟਿਡ ਫ੍ਰੇਟ ਕੋਰੀਡੋਰ (DFC) ਸਮੇਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਢਾਂਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ 23 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਸਰਹਿੰਦ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਫਤਿਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇੜੇ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਫਰੇਟ ਕੋਰੀਡੋਰ ਲਾਈਨ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਈ.ਈ.ਡੀ. (IED) ਧਮਾਕੇ ਅਤੇ 27 ਅਪਰੈਲ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੰਭੂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਇਸੇ ਕੋਰੀਡੋਰ ‘ਤੇ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤਿਵਾਦੀ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫ਼ਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਚਾਰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਮਾਤਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਗੋਲਾ-ਬਾਰੂਦ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ RPG ਲਾਂਚਰ, IED, RDX, ਹੈਂਡ ਗ੍ਰਨੇਡ ਸਮੇਤ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਪਿਸਤੌਲਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।
ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਸ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ KZF ਹੈਂਡਲਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਡਿਪੋਰਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਬੈਂਕ ਖਾਤਿਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ KZF ਆਪਰੇਟਿਵਜ਼ ਤੱਕ ਅਤਿਵਾਦੀ ਫੰਡ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਅਮਨ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਪਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਦੋਵਾਂ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ‘ਤੇ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪੂਰੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਬਾਕੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
in a major intelligence-led operation, Punjab Police, with the cooperation of Central Agencies and the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP), successfully secured the deportation of two wanted operatives linked to the banned Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) from #Malaysia. The accused were apprehended by Punjab Police at IGI Airport, #NewDelhi, upon their arrival and brought to Punjab for further investigation.
The two accused, Gurwinder Singh of #Ambala and Manjeet Singh of #Patiala, were key Malaysia-based nodes of a KZF-backed terror module involved in targeting critical railway infrastructure, including the Dedicated Freight Corridor lines in #Punjab.
Earlier, Punjab Police had successfully busted the terror module responsible for the IED blast on the Railway Freight Corridor line near Sirhind, Fatehgarh Sahib, on January 23, 2026, and the attempted explosion on the same corridor near Shambhu, District Patiala, on April 27, 2026.
During the investigation, four accused were arrested and significant militant hardware was recovered, including an RPG launcher, an IED, RDX, hand grenades, and high-end pistols with ammunition.
Subsequent investigations into the transnational conspiracy uncovered the involvement of KZF handlers and financial facilitators operating from Malaysia. The deported accused were found to be instrumental in channeling terror funds through offshore accounts to KZF operatives in Punjab, facilitating plans to execute terrorist attacks and disturb peace and public order in the state.
Both accused were produced before the competent court in Patiala on June 18, 2026, and have been remanded to police custody for further interrogation. Investigations are ongoing to unravel the broader network and identify all individuals involved in the conspiracy.
