Madrid, April 10 – A bus carrying tourists in Spain’s Canary Islands plunged into a ravine, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to 27 others.
The accident occurred on the island of La Gomera, which is part of the Canary Islands located in the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Africa.
According to reports, most of the passengers on the bus were British nationals. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to nearby hospitals. The condition of some of the victims is reported to be serious.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
ਮੈਡਰਿਡ , 10 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ – ਸਪੇਨ ਦੇ ਕੈਨਰੀ ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਇਕ ਬੱਸ ਖੱਡ ਵਿਚ ਡਿਗ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ 27 ਹੋਰ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ । ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਸਨ।ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਲਾ ਗੋਮੇਰਾ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਪਰੀ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਤੱਟ ‘ਤੇ ਅਟਲਾਂਟਿਕ ਮਹਾਸਾਗਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਪੈਨਿਸ਼ ਟਾਪੂ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ 8 ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਹੈ।
