ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਆਰਟੀਫੀਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ (ਏਆਈ) ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੀ ਦੁਰਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਹਿਰੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਗਾਹ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਏਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਬਣੀ ਕੋਈ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ਯੋਗ ਵੀਡੀਓ, ਫੋਟੋ ਆਦਿ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹੀ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ਯੋਗ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਕਸਰ ਹੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਏਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਬਣੀ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ਯੋਗ ਵੀਡੀਓ, ਫੋਟੋ ਆਦਿ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਮੰਚਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਪਲੋਡ ਜਾਂ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਫੈਲਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਤਵ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸੱਟ ਵੱਜਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਵੀਡੀਓ, ਫੋਟੋ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੀਡੀਆ, ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੈੱਬ ਚੈਨਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਏਆਈ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਡਾਊਨਲੋਡ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੰਚਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਪਲੋਡ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ, ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸੱਟ ਵੱਜਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਖਤੀ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲੈ ਕਿ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਏਆਈ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੀ ਦੁਰਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਰਤਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਠੱਲ੍ਹਣ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਠੋਸ ਏਆਈ ਨੀਤੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ ਜਿਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਏਆਈ ਟੂਲ/ਸਾਫ਼ਟਵੇਅਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਅਪਲੋਡ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ਯੋਗ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਜਨਤਕ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਵਰਤਾਰਾ ਕਾਫੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੱਕ ਠੱਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਏਆਈ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਮਾੜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਗਾ ਸਮਾਜ ਸਿਰਜਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾਂ, ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਆਦਿ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਵੀ ਸਵਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਰਤਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਸੰਗਤ ਇੱਕ ਲਹਿਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਜੀਦਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਠੋਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ।
Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Raises Concern Over Misuse of AI, Gives Message to Community to Immediately Report Objectionable Content
Amritsar, March 18: Sri Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj has expressed deep concern over incidents of misuse of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to hurt religious sentiments and has issued a special message to the Sikh community and youth.
He cautioned the community that whenever any objectionable AI-generated video, photo, or content surfaces, it shoul
d not be shared further. Instead, such content must be immediately reported as objectionable on the concerned social media platforms. He noted that often people end up sharing or uploading such material on their own social media platforms, which only helps mischievous elements achieve their motive and further aggravates hurt religious sentiments. He emphasized that reporting such content promptly, rather than circulating it, can help in its removal.
He also asked media outlets, social media platforms, and web channels to exercise restraint and avoid downloading or reposting AI-generated content that hurts religious sentiments, as doing so only amplifies the damage.
Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj further stated that both the central and state governments should act strictly in such matters and take suo motu cognizance to ensure action is implemented. He said it is the responsibility of governments to curb the misuse of AI technology that targets religious sentiments. He called for the formulation of a robust AI policy to ensure that no content offensive to religious beliefs can be created or uploaded using AI tools, software, or social media platforms. He added that if such objectionable content is identified before it becomes public, the issue can be controlled to a significant extent.
He said that AI technology itself is not harmful and, if used appropriately, can contribute to building a better society. However, when it is used in ways that violate the principles, traditions, and history of religions, it raises serious concerns. He gave message to the Sikh sangat to come forward as a collective movement and take meaningful steps to counter such practices with seriousness.
