Indian Youth Shot Dead During Pizza Delivery in the United States
ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ‘ਚ ਪਿੱਜ਼ਾ ਡਿਲੀਵਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਹੱਤਿਆ
ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਫਿਲਾਡੇਲਫੀਆ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਦੇ 28 ਸਾਲਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਕੁੰਚਾ ਦੀ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ 5 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਲਟੀਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਧੂ ਆਮਦਨ ਲਈ ਵੀਕਐਂਡ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਿੱਜ਼ਾ ਡਿਲੀਵਰੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਵੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੁੰਨੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿੱਜ਼ਾ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਆਰਡਰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਤਨਵੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਆਰਡਰ ਦਰਅਸਲ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਲ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ, ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਫਰਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਸਮਾਨ ਜਾਂ ਨਕਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੁੱਟੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਨੀਅਤ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦੋ ਨਕਾਬਪੋਸ਼ ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਤਨਵੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਲੁੱਟਖੋਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਫੋਨ, ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਚੇਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਕਦੀ ਖੋਹ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਨਿਊਯਾਰਕ ਸਥਿਤ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕੌਂਸਲੇਟ ਨੇ ਘਟਨਾ ‘ਤੇ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਦੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਭੇਜਣ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਲਗਭਗ ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇਹ ਜਲਦ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਭਾਰਤ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
A tragic incident has been reported from Philadelphia, United States, where a 28-year-old Indian man from Hyderabad was shot dead while delivering a pizza. The victim has been identified as Anshul Kuncha. According to reports, the incident occurred on June 5.
Anshul was employed at a multinational company in the U.S. and worked part-time as a pizza delivery driver on weekends to earn extra income.
Family members stated that Anshul received a pizza delivery order to a remote location. According to his sister Tanvi, the order was allegedly a trap designed to lure him to an isolated area. When he arrived at the location, attackers opened fire and shot him three times in the head before fleeing the scene.
Interestingly, no valuables were stolen from the victim, leading the family to believe that the attackers intended to kill him rather than rob him.
The family said that two suspects wearing black masks and carrying backpacks were involved in the crime. Tanvi also revealed that Anshul had previously been the victim of a robbery in which his phone, chain, and cash were stolen.
The Indian Consulate in New York expressed deep sorrow over the incident and stated that it is in contact with the victim’s family. Officials are assisting with arrangements to send Anshul’s mortal remains back to India.
