‘BJP Called Me Khalistani As I Wear Turban’: IPS officer Jaspreet Singh (Sikh Police Officer in West Bengal)
The West Bengal Police on Tuesday said it was BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari, the state’s Leader of the Opposition, who hurled ‘Khalistani’ slur at a Sikh police officer, adding that ‘strict legal action’ is being initiated in the matter.IPS officer Jaspreet Singh is called Khalistani because he stopped Opposition (BJP) legislators from entering the trouble-torn areas of Sandeshkhali in West Bengal.
ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਮੰਗਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਇਸ ਸੋਚ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਟੇਟ (ਭਾਜਪਾ, ਕਾਂਗਰਸ, ਆਪ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ) ਨੇ ਇਸ ਲਫਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੁਣ ਫਿਰ ਇਸਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਹੈ।
ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦੀ, ਹੁਣ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਖਤਰੇ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖ ਘੱਟਗਿਣਤੀ ਦਾ ਖੂਨ ਇਸ ਏਜੰਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਫਿੱਟ ਬਹਿੰਦਾ।
ਹਰ ਉਹ ਪੱਗ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦਾ ਬੰਦਾ, ਜੋ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਕ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਗੋਦੀ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘੀ ਆਈਟੀ ਸੈੱਲ ਜਦੇ ਹੀ ਖਾਲਸਿਤਾਨੀ ਗਰਦਾਨ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਚਾਹੇ ਉਹ ਕਿਸਾਨ-ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ। ਬੀਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲਾਂ ‘ਚ ਇਹ ਬਿਰਤਾਂਤ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਨਾ ਧੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਪੱਗ ਵਾਲਾ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਗੂ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਹਟੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਅੱਗਿਓਂ ਖਿਝ ਕੇ ਸਫ਼ਾਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਬੀਬੀ ਨੇ ਮੂੰਹ ‘ਤੇ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਵਰਨਾ ਕਈ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਗੁਬਾਰ ਦਿਲ ‘ਚ ਲਈ ਫਿਰਨਗੇ ਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ‘ਚ ਕੱਢਣਗੇ।
ਇਹ ਵਰਤਾਰਾ ਭਾਰਤ ‘ਚ ਵਸਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਲਈ ਬੜੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਲੀ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਦੇਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨਾ।
ਚੌਰਾਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਇਹੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਦੋਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸੀ, ਹੁਣ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਲੇ ਅੱਧੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਵੈਸੇ ਵੀ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਦੋਂ ਭਾਜਪਾਈ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਦਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਹੁਣ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਭਗਤ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਣ ਬੈਠੇ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਤੱਕ।
ਚੌਰਾਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੱਗ, ਕੇਸ ਅਤੇ ਕੜਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਫਿਰ ਚਾਹੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਜ਼ੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੀ ਜਾਂ ਜਨਰਲ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਜਾਂ ਕੈਂਪਾ ਕੋਲਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਕੋਈ ਨੀ ਬਖਸ਼ਿਆ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਨੰਗਲੋਈ ਤੁਗਲਕਾਬਾਦ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ‘ਤੇ ਦੋ ਦਰਜਨ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਫੌਜੀ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ, ਸਾਰੇ “ਜੈ ਹਿੰਦ” ਕਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ। ਭਵਿੱਖ ਸਿਰਸੇ, ਕਾਲਕੇ, ਬੱਗੇ, ਪੁਰੀ, ਆਰਪੀ ਆਦਿ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਅੱਡ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਾ।
ਨਾਲ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ (ਟਵੀਟ) ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਭਰਮ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨਾਲ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਕਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਟੁੱਟਣਗੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਚਣ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਿਰ ਜੋੜਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

Labeling a decorated Sikh Police officer as Khalistani who was performing his bonafide duties as a police officer in West Bengal is strongly condemnable, highly objectionable & and a case of serious hate crime. A case should be registered against the culprit & guilty must be given exemplary punished.
It is very disturbing that many Sikhs have been insulted in the similar way in the past. Efforts have been made to label protesting farmers as Khalistani in the past & even at present.
Similarly, some players have also been labeled as Khalistani & now this Sikh officer is facing the same situation.
Even during elections many a time irresponsible speakers spit venom on communal lines.
The Union & all state governments should take such hate crimes seriously. All political parties should also understand the gravity of the situation & should take stern action against their erring officer bearers.
