ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ, 8 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 2026: ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ Starlink ਦੀਆਂ ਸੈਟੇਲਾਈਟ ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਐਲਨ ਮਸਕ ਨੇ ਮੁਕੇਸ਼ ਅੰਬਾਨੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮਸਕ ਨੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ X ’ਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ: “ਕੀ ਅੰਬਾਨੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਅਸਲੀ ਬੌਸ ਹਨ?”
ਮਸਕ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ Starlink ਨੂੰ 165 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਮਿਲ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਏਕਾਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ Starlink ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਮਸਕ ਦੇ ਦਾਅਵੇ ਹਨ।
ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤੇ
ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੈਟੇਲਾਈਟ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਦਾਤਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਇੱਕੋ ਨਿਯਮ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸਧਾਰਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਲਗਭਗ ਇੱਕੋ ਨਿਯਮਕ ਪੜਾਅ ’ਤੇ ਹਨ। ਜਾਂਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਪੈਕਟ੍ਰਮ ਅਲਾਟਮੈਂਟ ਦਾ ਅਗਲਾ ਪੜਾਅ ਆਵੇਗਾ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਭੇਦਭਾਵ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਬੁਨਿਆਦ ਦੱਸਿਆ।
ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਿਰਿਆ
ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਮਸਕ ਦੀ ਪੋਸਟ ’ਤੇ ਤਨਜ਼ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ “ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ” ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ। ਮਸਕ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੰਤਾਜਨਕ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਰਾਹੁਲ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ।
Elon Musk Questions Ambani’s Influence Amid Starlink’s India Approval Dispute
New Delhi, October 8, 2026: Elon Musk has questioned Mukesh Ambani’s influence as he criticised delays to Starlink’s commercial launch in India.
Posting on X, Musk asked: “Is Ambani the real boss of India?” He claimed Starlink had spent five years meeting Indian requirements and questioned why it still lacked permission to begin services. His comments followed allegations that powerful business interests were obstructing Starlink to protect their market dominance. These remain Musk’s allegations.
India’s Communications Ministry rejected suggestions of discrimination. It said security assessments were continuing for all three licensed satellite operators, which remained at broadly the same regulatory stage. Initial licensing and final permission to launch services are separate steps.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also responded to Musk’s post with a sarcastic reference to another unnamed figure. Musk thanked him and described the situation as troubling.
